According to dean of Yiwu Employment Management Section, 3,199 foreigners had applied for legal employment by the end of December, 2009, ranking first among all the county-level and prefecture-level cities in Zhejiang Province. In 2009, the related department of Yiwu local government dealt with the employment application of 3,860 foreigners from 86 countries and regions.
